CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY


ATHLETICS

Requests for athletic refunds must be made in writing at least five (5) business days prior to the first game or first session. Please email your name or child's name and receipt number to phscustomer@lauderdalelakes.org for all refund requests. One half (1⁄2) of the registration fee will be refunded by check.

ACTIVITIES & RECREATION PROGRAMS

Refunds for Activities and Recreation Classes are issued upon request and must be made in writing to the Parks and Human Services Department at least five (5) business days prior to the first class or session. Please email your name or child's name and receipt number to phscustomer@lauderdalelakes.org for all refund requests. A full refund will be given prior to the first session/class. Refunds will not be issued after the first session/class.

AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS, CAMPS & SCHOOL DAY OUT

A full refund for Afterschool Programs will be issued before the start of the first session, if the child/children have been withdrawn from the program. A household credit will be applied if the child/children are absent for the entire session. Registration fees are non-refundable. Please email your name or child's name and receipt number to phscustomer@lauderdalelakes.org for all refund requests.

Refunds will not be issued for holiday camps and school day out programs.

FITNESS CENTER REFUNDS

The City will offer a prorated refund for annual fitness center memberships up to 30 days after purchase. Requests for refunds must be made in writing. Please email us at phscustomer@lauderdalelakes.org. Daily fitness center passes are non-refundable and must be redeemed at the time of purchase.

FACILITY CANCELATION, REFUNDS, & RAIN DATES

In order to be eligible for a refund, cancellations must be made in writing to the Park and Human Services Department at least 14 business day prior to the permitted date of use. Please email us at phscustomer@lauderdalelakes.org for all cancellation requests. A 10% administrative fee will be charged for all rental cancelations.

Requests for date changes must also be made in writing to the Park and Human Services Department at least 14 business day prior to the permitted date of use. Dates changes are subject to facility availability. The City does not offer rain dates due to inclement weather. Patrons are required to adhere to the City's cancellation policy to reschedule a rental or receive a refund when anticipating inclement weather. Please email us at phscustomer@lauderdalelakes.org to request changes to your permit.

SECURITY DEPOSITS

Security deposits will be refunded in cash up to 30 days after scheduled pick up date. Please refer to your permit for pick up dates. Security deposits that are not collected within 30 days after the scheduled pickup date will be refunded by check. A check will be issued by mail to the customer address on file upon request. Refund checks will be processed within four to six weeks from the date of request.

ALL REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED WITHIN FOUR (4) TO (6) WEEKS FROM THE DATE OF REQUEST. REFUND REQUESTS SHOULD INCLUDE PARTICIPANT'S NAME AND RECEIPT NUMBER. REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUEED BY CHECK AND WILL BE MAILED TO THE CUSTOMER ADDRESS ON FILE.
